Neuroimaging on amblyopia

Collaborating with Dr. Wang Ai-Hou at the Department of Ophthalmology, NTU Hospital, we use ERP and fMRI to study the binocular suppression in amblyope. We measure how the activation to stimuli projected to amblyopic eye can be affected by the presence of another visual stimulus in the dominant eye. This result is then compared with the normal controls in the same viewing condition.
